What is requirements of ETIAS
for different countries?

ETIAS stands for the European Travel Information and Authorization System. It was announced by the European Commission in November 2016 and was implemented into legislation in September 2018. The intention of forming the system was to improve the security of EU member states within the Schengen region by capturing data on travelers that currently visit the area without a visa.

ETIAS for Americans

ETIAS stands for European Travel Information and Authorization System which is a completely electronic system designed with the sole purpose to keep track of visitors coming from countries that do not require a visa to enter the Schengen Zone. This visa waiver will serve as multiple-entry travel authorization for U.S. citizens allowing them to enter any of the Schengen Zone European Countries. The validity of ETIAS will be of 3 years from the time of approval. Americans will be able to use this authorization for any of the purposes including short stays for tourism, business, medical treatment, or transit. The main requirements to apply for ETIAS include a valid passport, a credit or debit card for paying the ETIAS fee, and an email address.

ETIAS for Australians

After receiving the full backing of the European Union, Australians have to get a European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS) permit for traveling to any of the 26 states that come under Schengen Zone. The purpose of ETIAS implementation is to reduce illegal immigration and provide protection against terrorist threats. All set to come into practice from 2022, it will be hassle-free to register online with your valid passport, working email address, and a credit or debit card for fee payment. After successful ETIAS authorization, Australians can stay for a period of up to three months in the European Schengen Member States.

ETIAS for Brazilians

From 2022, Brazilians will require European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS) for traveling to any of the EU and Non-EU countries that come under the Schengen Area. ETIAS is a type of new Europe visa waiver for citizens of Brazil. It is a completely secured electronic system that will screen applicators against various security databases before providing authorization to enter into Schengen Area. This system will assist in strengthening border control and maintaining top-notch immigration security in Schengen Area through its smart screening method. Brazilian passport holders will need to apply for the ETIAS visa waiver at least 3 days before their date of arrival in the Schengen Area to give ample time for proper screening.

ETIAS for Canadians

Ready to come into practice by the end of 2022, European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS) visa waiver will be necessary for any of the Canadian passport holders to enter into Schengen Area. It is an electronic screening system which is designed to reduce terror threat and strengthen border control in the Schengen Area. The ETIAS is very easy to apply online with some basic documentation needs including a valid passport, credit or debit card for fee payment, and an operational email address. Visitors will also be required to answer some questions related to health & security. Within every 180 days, ETIAS visa waiver authorization will allow visitors to stay for 90 days in Schengen Area and is valid for 3 years from the date of approval.

ETIAS for South Koreans

Backed up by European Union, European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS) will now be necessary for any South Korean passport holder to enter into Schengen Area. This step has been taken keeping border and immigration security in mind. It won’t be tricky to apply for ETIAS visa waiver authorization. The whole process is online; all you need to have is a valid passport with validity extending 3 months before the intended date of visit to the Schengen country, credit or debit card for ETIAS fee payment, and operational email address for receiving notification of approval or rejection of the application. Once approved, the ETIAS visa waiver will be valid for 3 consecutive years allowing South Koreans to travel multiple times to European countries that come under Schengen Area. It will grant travelers the right to stay up to 90 days in the Schengen Area, within a period of 180-days.

ETIAS for Mexicans

If you are a citizen of Mexico with a valid passport and wish to travel any of the 26 Schengen member States, then from 2022 you have to get European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS) visa waiver to travel there. It is an electronic system that screens the applicator against various security databases before providing approval.  Any of the Mexican who wish to travel will be required to fill a simple online form for ETIAS visa waiver registration. Some of the basic requirements for filling out the form are a valid passport with 3 months of validity beyond the intended date of arrival in Europe, a working email address, and an online payment system whether it is credit or debit card.

ETIAS for the Japanese

Ready to be fully implemented in 2022, the ETIAS visa waiver will be necessary for any Japanese with a valid passport to visit Schengen member States. With a valid ETIAS visa waiver, Japanese travelers will have the complete legal authority to enter any European Schengen Country for tourism, business, or transit purposes. After approval, visitors can stay in any Schengen Member State for up to 90 days, within 180-days period. One can easily apply for ETIAS visa waiver online with a valid passport having 3 months of validity beyond the intended date of arrival in the Schengen Area, credit or debit card, and an email address for receiving notification about the authorization process.

ETIAS for Guatemalans

As of now, Guatemalan passport holders are allowed to stay in European countries for short stays. But from 2022, every Guatemalan with a valid passport will be required to apply for the European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS) visa waiver for traveling in any of the Schengen Member States. Citizens of Guatemalan will be requested to apply online for ETIAS before their visit to European Countries. The process will be simple and will require a valid passport with 3 months of validity from the intended date of arrival in Schengen State, an email address, and a credit or debit card for ETIAS fee payment. Pre-screening of applicants will be done against multiple security databases before authorizing them to travel any Schengen Area country.

ETIAS for Nicaraguans

The new European Travel Authorization system ETIAS will be necessary for Nicaraguans to travel any Schengen Area country from 2022. This electronic system is designed to strengthen border control and smoothen up the process of travel document checks. All applicants will have to fill a form to apply for the ETIAS visa waiver. The form will have personal, health, & security related questions. The process will be simple and require a valid passport, credit or debit card, and a working email address. Before applying, one must make sure to have a passport validity of 3 months before the intended date of arrival in the European Country. After the complete database check, ETIAS approval will be sent to the email address provided by the applicant.
